Blood Donation Camp

The Rotary Club of Kolkata Benevolence joined hands with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Engineering College to orchestrate a highly successful blood donation camp on March 1, 2024. A remarkable total of 85 donors generously contributed, many of whom were first-time donors.

This initiative holds particular significance as it precedes the onset of summer in Bengal, a time when the demand for blood typically surges. With the increased likelihood of accidents, heat-related ailments, and illnesses during the warmer months, ensuring an ample blood supply becomes paramount. By donating prior to the onset of summer, we fortify our healthcare system, save lives, and extend vital support to those in need of blood transfusions.
