STREET DRAMA,SEMINAR ON PROTECTING WATER BODY

The Rotary Club of Kolkata, in collaboration with the Garfa-Dhakuria-Haltu Jolashoy Rokkha Committee, orchestrated an
impactful environmental awareness program. With a strong focus on the conservation, protection, and rejuvenation of water bodies, the event featured an essay competition, a speech contest, and a drawing competition, all centered around the crucial theme of safeguarding water bodies.

Local authorities, municipal committees, residents, and our club played integral roles in this endeavor. Witnessing the youth
actively engaged in environmental issues, advocating for sustainable practices, and demonstrating an understanding of
biodiversity was truly inspiring. The program concluded with a compelling street drama highlighting environmental awareness.

Our club remains steadfast in its commitment to actively contribute to this citizen-driven movement. We pledge not only a one-day effort but ongoing dedication to the cleaning, protection, and revitalization of three vital water bodies in our community.
